It’s not fully functional yet but it will let you sync non-Google Docs files to your linux machine. So if you have Photo’s up there, eBooks, PDF’s, or just about anything else this solutions is for you. It’s a package called “grive” for Google Drive. This article explains how to set it up on Ubuntu using the PPA. It should work on just about any other flavor of Linux or even BSD if you build it from source as described on the Projects GITHub Page. I have wanted something like this for some time and glad to see a solution that so far is working for me.
