A cool article over at Enterprise IT Planet talks about some trends seen in a recent survey by Gabriel Consulting Group in Beaverton Ore. While the sample size was relatively small, a mere 199 companies, the trends are still valid.  The questions they asked were interesting and very telling.  For instance, they asked whether companies were using Linux of which 90% said yes.  24% of companies said they would increase their usage of Linux over the next twelve months up from 20% in 2009.  Check out the article for the rest of their findings.
