Don’t let your thumb drive data go unprotected just cause you use Linux…

Most companies I have worked with require that all laptops have the harddrives encrypted.  With 16 GB Thumb drives dropping below $50 we should all probably be encryting them also right?  The loss of data on a thumb drive is no less costly to your company than any other drive.  So what can you do on Linux?  Well I came across this simple step by step proceedure to encrypt a thumb drive on Linux.  While I haven’t verified the steps they all seem reasonable and correct.  As with anything you do with data please remember to backup any data you have on the drive before you attempt these steps.
