Well this week Brian has decided to head down to New Orleans with his family for his 5th wedding anniversary! Congratulations Brian and Christa! Kim and I wish we were there with you. But enough of that for now, how about onto some tech and Linux stuff. CES is going on this week, and if you are like me, you have been refreshing several web sites throughout the day trying to keep up with all the announcements that are being made in Vegas. It seems that 3D TV’s, E-book readers and streaming video devices are just a few of the things that seem to be popular this year. But for those of us back in the office and not enjoying an anniversary or CES, the daily grind continues.
I was digging through some articles today and came across an article posted on linuxinsider that discusses another article written back in December that was posted on itworld. The article discusses ways of getting FOSS past your boss which we had discussed in back in an October article. While I cannot say that we condone some of the suggestions, there are some good ideas discussed in both articles and several people were obviously thinking outside the box. Check them out then re-read our article which talks about choosing your first Linux project and let us know in the comments what you think.
