Does using open source software make you a pirate?

Well for the past few days, there really haven't been a lot of good news stories for us to post.  Today though, I came across a story which just made me laugh.  I found this story on guardian.co.uk which discusses how the International Intellectual Property Alliance, (gee I wonder who they represent?), is wanting the US government to consider certain countries who are using open source as pirates.  So if I use open source software, does that make me a pirate too?  Give the article above a read, and you will probably get a good chuckle out of it like I did.

I think it is crazy how far some lobby groups will go to try to make a buck, but this is just downright absurd.

So let us know in the comments, if you are a pirate as well!
