OpenSource App Store...hmmmm

Maximum PC's David Murphy writes a compelling article about the need for an OpenSource answer to the Apple/Google/RIM/every other smart phone Application Store.  The idea has merit and may already be in the works...Where might you look for something that lets you install software on linux more easily....Some of the idea's I think he is missing is the possibility to let people pay through the site for the Projects Model....I am thinking Donations, Purchased Support, or out right charging for some applications.... Check out the article and let us know what you think....
